New Year news.

First things first - thank you to all those who piled into the pub on Xmas eve to raise the roof with carols. The singing was actually quite impressive this year and got the Christmas week off to a great start. We hope that where ever you have spent Christmas, you have all enjoyed a relaxing break.

2010 at The Full Moon is looking very exciting and we have so much in store.

The first major event is Plough Sunday which falls on Sunday 10th January. It is a great event with Morris dancing teams from across Nottingham making there way to Morton to bless the plough. They always put on a brilliant show in the road outside the pub and we will be serving hot food from the marquee and the fish and chip van. The bar will be open with plenty of real ales, mulled wine and hot toddys. Why not take advantage of the great walks and cycle routes around Morton and come down to enjoy a (free!) afternoon of traditional English entertainment.

The much anticipated fish and chip van will be hitting the road in January and we are just putting the finishing touches to the route. We are also looking for another member of staff to work alongside us in the van. If you are interested in a part time job with a guaranteed fun factor, please do get in touch.

Loyalty cards will be available from early January and with 2 for 1 dining on our 1 and 2 course set menu, do we really have to give you more reasons to make The Moon your local for 2010

Thats it for now, we hope you have a Happy new year and a healthy 2010.

Will, Becks and co.
