Tuesday was the first night out in our Nippie Chippie and we were overwhelmed by the response we received. We had visions of standing in a lonely lay by with no one in sight and a mug of tea to keep us warm. The reality was a queue of customers from 5pm and no time for a swig of water let alone a cup of tea! We hope that you did enjoy our fish and chips and we also apologise for running out of fresh haddock in Bleasby. We are keen to keep our fish the best quality around and fresh is the only way to guarantee this. We are in Farnsfield and Edingley thursday evening, and Southwell on friday evening.

Valentines is now just days away and the phone is already starting to hot up with those leaving booking to the last minute. We do still have a few tables left for Saturday and Sunday evening so it is worth giving us a call.

Next week is half term and hopefully the weather could be good to us. Our fantastic outdoor play area is ready and our toy cupboard is stocked up as always. We also have our pancake party on Tuesday 16th from 5pm- 7pm with entertainment from Marvo the Magician, bangers and mash supper and as many pancakes as you can eat. Tickets are available now from the pub and are £3 for children, £5 for adults and £15 for a family of 4. All proceeds from the event will go to Save the Children.

Finally, Easter means that The Fiskerton and Morton 2010 scarecrow trail is on the horizon with just 6 weeks to go! Anyone whio lives in Fiskerton or Morton is welcome to take part - pop into the pub to collect an application form, or send us an email.
