Nippie Chippie updates!

We are coming towards the end of our 2nd month in our Nippie Chippie and it is fair to say it has been a steep learning curve. We are now confident that we have ironed out any problems and that we are starting to get a feel for what people want. Thank you so much for all your comments - good and bad - as we needed all the feedback we could get. We have now extended our menu to include home made fishcakes and sausages and we are putting the finishing touches to our new route. If anyone has any comments on the route, please do let us know. We have also hired a great guy called Chris who is now managing the van and doing a great job.

It is now countdown to the second Fiskerton and Morton Scarecrow trail which we organise from The Full Moon and run over the Easter weekend. All entry forms must be in by Friday 26th March to be included on the official route. If you live in Fiskerton or Morton and would like to take part and need a form, send me an email and I will send you a form. The first prize is £50 worth of garden centre vouchers, and this year we will also have a Landlords favourite with a £25 Full Moon voucher for the winner.... and of course no competition would be complete without the wooden spoon! Next week I will fill you in on how to spend a family day out over Easter searching for all our scarecrows and voting for the best!

Finally, just a quick reminder that we now serve food all day on a Sunday, starting with a great breakfast menu at 9.30. With free range eggs and Gonalston Farm shop bangers and bacon, a Full English with the papers in front of the fire ( and yes there are quite a few of you who swap the tea for a pint!) is a great way to start a Sunday. Our lunch menu starts at 12 and we run the menu all the way through the afternoon until 7pm. With the warmer afternoons, why not come down for a late lunch sat on the benches out the front of the pub?

 See you soon.
