Easter weekend saw the villages of Fiskerton and Morton filled with crazy scarecrows and hoards of visitors all voting for their favourite creation. Thank you to everyone who took part and made the event such a massive success. In addition to a busy weekend in the pub, we also raised £270 for Neurocare in memory of Hollie Sturgeon which is a massive achievement. We have also put the finishing touches to our latest Nippie Chippie route and have made a couple of additions. We will now stop at Norwood Gardens and Bramley Close in Southwell, and on School Lane in Halam. Now we are feeling more confident and have ironed out any problems, we have also increased our menu to include Cod fishcakes, Farm shop sausages and Cheese and onion patties, along side our fresh Grimsby Haddock. Finally for those Real Ale lovers out there Will has been nuturing a barrel of Timothy Taylors in the cellar and it will be ready to hit the pumps friday evening. It is unlikely to last long so if Timothy Taylors is one of your all time favourites, get down to The Full Moon this weekend.
