If The World Cup is going to be the highlight of your week then why not head down to The Full Moon to soak up the atmosphere? Kick off is 7.30pm on saturday and with some great Real ales, including Woodfordes Wherry and Hydes Cape Crusader and free nibbles at half time it is should be a good evening no matter what the score is!

For those of you who don't want to tune into the footie, our restaurant at the other end of the pub remains tv free and far enough away to avoid the mayhem! We have some great fresh fish on this weekend from Steve Owen so why not book a table with the girls, whilst the boys enjoy their liquid dinner?

We have been busy throughout May with weddings ( and baby!) and have enjoyed catering for weddings at peoples homes and in the pub. Our pub weddings are proving to be very popular with couples looking for an intimate and relaxed venue with a bit of a difference. We are in the process of updating our web site with some more wedding photos from recent couples all showing what a fun venue The Moon has become.We are also looking for 2 more couples for our Vegas wedding on 10.10.10 when we aim to old 10 Elvis themed weddings on 1 day, culminating in a massive party in our marquee with a casino, disco and live show! Finally, we have of course been kept busy with the latest addition to our family who arrived at the beginning of May. Baby Bobby White weighed in at a healthy 9lb 13 oz on the 6th May. Life is slowly getting back to normal and he has fitted into our busy pub life well so far. Thank you for all the cards and messages and we hope Bobby will be making his debut behind the bar soon!
