On the 10th October we are holding a Vegas style wedding extravaganza with 10 weddings, a casino, photos on the Vegas strip and of course Elvis Presley performing throughout the day! Each couple taking part will have an intimate 20 minute ceremony in The Morton Room with 18 of their family and friends, followed by a glass of bubbly and photos outside our beautiful pub. After a 3 course wedding breakfast served in the marquee, the wedding party will have the chance to have more photos, entertain the children with Marvo the magician in the garden, or relax and watch the fun as more couples arrive to get married! For the evening we have an Elvis show, 6 table Casino and a disco to party your way into married life in style.We have 7 couples booked and we are looking for 3 more couples to take part in what is going to be an amazing day! 1st July sees the launch of our happy hour where you can enjoy Haddock in beer batter with chips for £8 between 5.30pm and 7pm. July also sees the re launch of our Vegetarian Evening on Tuesday 13th and our first ever Boules evening on Thursday 29th July.  Finally congratulations to all Morton villagers for getting through to the next round of The Best Kept Village Competition. Judging starts again next week so keep your privets pruned and your shed shining and maybe this could be our year for success.
