Boules, Chip van news, Childrens stuff and burgers

lettertop.jpg

Thursday sees our first ever Boules contest and judging by the number of entries ( and the names behind them) it should be a hot contest! Teams need to register between 6 and 6.30 and the matches will start between 6.30 and 7pm. Also please let us know if you have a set boules you can bring along for the evening. Food will be available from the chip van starting at 6.30 and includes Garlic King prawns, Chips with garlic mayo, Fish goujons and of course, Beer battered frogs legs!

Our summer childrens activities are going well and we have more crafts planned for Friday. The session starts at 11am and is free to all customers. Next week we have a foodie session planned for Monday and a Jenga contest planned for Friday!

Now for the bad news -  due to staffing problems, we have had to stop our weekly visits around the villages in our Nippie Chippie. We have struggled to find staff since January and we reduced the route at the end of May. We  have now decided to postpone the route completly until further notice. The Nippie Chippie is still available for functions and events and has enjoyed some great parties over the past few monthes.

Finally our next Happy Hour promotion is on our Burgers which have been made even better with new Ciabatta rolls. Between 5.30 and 7.00pm throughout August (excluding sundays) our Full Moon Burger will be just £8 and our Childrens Eclipse Burger will be £3.50.We also have a new burger on the menu, "The Healthy Moon" -  corn fed chicken breast with mango salsa and the works!

See you soon

Will, Becks and co.
